Nairobi Skate School Project.
Kids are the same all over the world, they all love playing, having fun and spreading joy and laughter all over. However not all of these kids come from privileged homes as Nairobi has so many homeless people. Some of he street kids are hooked to drugs such as "Glue" which they sniff to take away their hunger as most of them tell us. In order to better and improve the quality of life of these street children we come across in the city, together with Legendary Skateboarding we decided to start teaching them how to skate. A few years ago rarely would one of these kids know how to properly call a skateboard nor did they have the slightest idea of what you can do on one. Today the curbs and staircases of the Uhuru Park Assembly Grounds in Nairobi is filled with energetic kids with radiant smiles cruising from one side to the other. Some have even started nailing simple tricks such as Ollies.
